Day at the Beach

Toby's baseball team had their end of season party at Ala Moana Beach Park today so we packed up the kids and Jamie and headed down for some fun in the sun. We realized why we don't go to the beach that much - we have to bring the whole house! oh my goodness did we pack a lot. It was exhausting. The girls had a blast and can't wait to go back.

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy Sunday - first we started the day off with Drew's 2nd birthday at 808 Bounce. The girls had a ball jumping in all of the bouncers --- they played with all of the big kids and were very brave. We spent the afternoon with Erika and her family a the aquarium. Maddie, Katie and Amika were born only a few weeks apart and it was the first time they met (Amika and her family live in California). We sure had fun!

Katie joined these 2 older girls while they were counting to 30 for their game of hide and seek. They didn't seem to mind that she tagged along and counted with them.

Here we go with 2012!

2012 has already been busy for us. We've had so much fun with lots of visitors in town and catching up with old friends. We can't wait to see what else 2012 brings!

We got to go and visit Uncle Chris and Uncle Will (here from Seattle) at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Katie and Maddie remember Uncle Chris from our July trip to Seattle and climbed right on his lap to play bubbles on the iphone.

Maddie and Katie loved running all over the lawn at the hotel. Uncle Chris and Aunty Jenny got a workout chasing them.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012!

We celebrated New Year's Day with our annual lunch at Pah Ke's restaurant - YUM! Here is a photo of Papa Rod, Madde, Grandma Joyce and Katie. Happy New Year to you all!

Happy New Year's Eve!

New Year's eve was a busy day for us - we crammed in a 1st birthday party, a long nap, a playdate/BBQ, and dinner with the family. The girls were asleep by 8:30 pm and Toby and I watched The Food Network until i fell asleep by 9:30 pm.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was fun - the girls actually got tired of opening presents and only wanted to play, but we managed to get through it all. We spent the evening at Aunty Cynna's house and the girls had fun running all over and playing with their uncles, aunties and great grandparents (and great, great grandma too!)
