Catching up on the blog...

Sorry I've been so out of touch the last week - it's been busy at work (we are prepping for our annual Country Fair on March 6th) and I've barely had time to check my email. We go to the doctor on Saturday for Maddie and Katie's 4 month check up --- I can't believe it's been 4 months already (almost, they turn 4 months on Sunday)! We had to put them in separate bassinets to sleep as they are getting too big to share one. Once we can get air conditioning installed in their room, we'll move them into their own cribs in their own room. Here are some new photos to share.

Valentine's Dinner

We went to our Valentine's dinner at Assaggio Kahala - what an experience. The wine was great, my steak was overcooked, and Katie had a meltdown. The entire night. Minus the last 20 minutes. Toby and I had to take turns standing outside, rocking her, walking her in the stroller (even Uncle Brian took a turn - thank you!) and trying to figure out what was wrong. She finally fell asleep so the 4 of us could enjoy tiramisu and another bottle of wine together - whew. Once we got home, fed Maddie and let Katie hang out by herself, all was good. I really think Katie is very independent and likes to be alone (with her musical seahorse) while Maddie craves attention. It will be interesting to see how their personalities evolve as they get older.

Happy Valentine's and Happy New Year!

Maddie and Katie spent their afternoon at Tai Po and Tai Gung's house - they both showed off their trick of turning over!

Catching up...

I've been a little behind in the blog so here are some photos from the last week and a half - we've been busy! Maddie rolled over from her tummy to her back twice today - she was so fast I couldn't catch it on video or film, but I'm working on it.

Katie LOVED watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics last night - she was talking to the TV and kicking her legs up in the air - maybe she'll follow Aunty Amy and become an Olympic athlete!

Katie and Maddie in cute onesies - thank you Aunty Carolyn Sedler!

Maddie and Katie FINALLY fit their Halloween hats that they wore on the way home from the hospital three and a half months ago.

Maddie and Katie with Lucy's basketball - Thank you Uncle Ryan for the cute Nike hats!
